St Michael is a mountain lover’s paradise, nestled in the valley of the Mur River; this traditional Austrian Market town offers enviable panoramic views of the Alps in Salzburg’s Lungau. The resort is excellently linked to the neighbouring resorts of Fanningberg, Grosseck-Speiereck and Katschberg-Aineck with access to Obertauern. Slopes are regularly groomed to a perfect condition, with a fantastic network of modern ski lifts to whisk you up the mountain.
